Never Break The Chain

Much like the infamous Fleetwood Mac song, my friend Cecily and I will never break the chain! Since grade 10, we’ve been besties. Our mutual complete lack of knowledge in Math 10 Pure brought us together and our love of fashion bonded us for life. I’m eternally grateful she started chatting with me in Dance 15 otherwise we may never have met.

Class schedules aside, we haven’t lived in the same city since 2006. Irony has always played a large role in my life but more so when she moved to Toronto almost immediately after I had graduated and left town! Like two stylish ships passing in the night. I still cannot get over it.

There is, however, a little silver lining to this story. I now live in a world class city (London England) so I will be seeing her much more regularly since she flies her often during the high travel season. She just popped by for a visit and will be coming back to London TWICE in the next little while and I cannot wait.

Sartorial Besties

I hope you enjoy this archive of photographs, one of which is recent. We have gone through many hairstyles and sartorial choices in the time we have known each other.

Unfortunately since digital cameras were still quite new (and expensive) I do not have a plethora of shots from our sweet high school days. Although, I think both Ces and I are much happier leaving our formative style years a secret. For now at least.

I could probably do a whole post on when I used to be punk…. the make-up alone!

Love all these photos! I could also probably do a whole post on my punk phase (which I'm actually still partially in) while at Strathcona Comp High. Like Marie, I'm curious, what E-town school did you go to?
