On our way to Wayne to stay at the Rosedeer Hotel and Last Chance Saloon, we passed through 11 Bridges Alberta. As per its name, there are in fact eleven bridges to drive over in the area. They’re all cool but this one just happened to be my favourite of the lot.

THE LAST CHANCE SALOON
The Last Chance Saloon is 9 bridges into the 11 bridge drive but you can always keep going to complete the full experience. However, it’s imperative to stop by the saloon. Established in 1913, the western roadhouse has maintained its charm. The Rosedeer hotel is also rumoured to be haunted! We didn’t experience any spirits when we stayed this time.

If ever you’re exploring Drumheller and the badlands, take a slight detour to check out 11 Bridges Alberta as well as the ghost town of Wayne. You won’t regret it!
