It all began with my quest for Astier de Villatte’s Tucson perfume. In my search to sample the perfume version of my favourite incense, I stumbled upon Bon Tucson while in Arizona. Not only was the perfume next level amazing, I also discovered a store I will happily visit whenever I’m in town.

What’s In Store at Bon Tucson

Bon is an eclectic boutique that is lovingly curated and you can tell that just by the mix of wares. From high end incense and candles to cute stationary and garments made of natural fibres, it’s easy to spend the better part of an hour wandering around.

Notable Brands

As I mentioned before, Astier de Villatte, a home fragrance and decor brand is carried by Bon Tucson. (If you’re in Canada, you can find them at Maven & Grace as well.) I’ve written about a few of my favourite scents from them in the linked post too.

Another notable brand that I love to see in North America is Repetto. I first discovered this French footwear company when I saw a magnificent window display of their ballet flats while strolling around London in 2009. At the time I was in fashion school and interning at British Vogue; both merchandising and magazine editorials were of IMMENSE interest to me.

Sadly I ended up in neither of those fields though I suppose blogging is adjacent. I digress… their ballet flats are gorgeous and I still intend on owning a pair one day. Look at those perfect colours – arch support be damned! Drape my entire life in wavy looking moire silk and I’ll die happy.

Where Is Bon Located

The Bon Boutique is located in a cute neighbourhood called Five Points just south of downtown. It’s a 20 minute walk from my preferred lodging when in town, Hotel Congress. Tucson is full of interesting architecture and public art so anytime I’m able to explore on foot, I take it.

Five Points Neighbourhood

I haven’t had the pleasure of exploring the neighbourhood more though I fully intend on it whenever I can return again. Across the street from Bon was Ugly but Honest Pizzeria. Now that’s a hilarious name I can get behind! Their patio looked perfect for a hot day and a slice of zza.

And that’s the Bon Tucson boutique tour! Stop by for a whiff of Tucson perfume but stay for the epic browsing of books, linens, and l’objects d’art. It’s worth a visit.
