Pastel Valentine Outfit

If this day isn’t the perfect time for a pastel valentine outfit, I don’t know when would be!

I imagine myself wearing this while I make a construction paper mailbox that’s covered in hearts (that match my outfit). All the while watching You’re in Love Charlie Brown the ultimate v-day viewing material.

The only way I can think to describe this 90s sweater is like a warm fuzzy. This loose weave monster fabric was very popular back in the day and I’m here to bring it back. It’s an actual Junior Girl sweater from Le Chateau. I know there’s a few of you out there who will appreciate that!

I paired the gauzy sweater with purple suede shorts that even Prince would be impressed by. Originally they were a full pair of pants I thrifted but the cut didn’t quite work for me.

The watercolour dotted socks from Strathcona Stockings are the definition of strange magic. They’re the only new article of clothing I’m wearing in this outfit (aside from my underwear!). The mary janes are 90s deadstock ALDO shoes!

That’s my pastel valentine outfit complete with suede, a gauzy nightmare sweater, watercolour socks, and too-small mary-jane shoes!
