DIOR GLOWING GARDENS COLLECTION

Spring has arrived early for me with this surprise delivery that ironically arrived on the coldest day of the year (so far). Dior Glowing Gardens Collection is a feast for the eyes in the middle of a white out winter. Glowy pastels and luxe packaging is all it takes to raise my spirits these days. Here’s a few highlights from the latest collection.

DIOR 5 COLOUR EYESHADOW PALETTE – 451 ROSE GARDEN

Dior has a way of turning even an eyeshadow palette into an absolute work of art. The 5 Colour Eyeshadow in 451 Rose Garden is just as stunning in photos as it is in person. Whoever decided to press patterns into their eyeshadows has my eternal gratitude. It just adds another layer to the experience of these luxe products. While the shadows are light pastels, they are more pigmented than I had originally suspected. Though it was difficult to convince myself to dip into the pan when it looked so beautiful untouched.

NUDE AIR ILLUMINATING POWDER

Again with the gorgeous floral motif pressed into the powder!!! How am I expected to put a brush into that??? Well, dear reader, I did in fact dip a brush in despite how much I felt resistance to it. And I’m happy to report the results were the perfect amount of a glowy without a hint of the tin man from Oz. The light pink hue had a much more natural effect on the skin than if it had been straight up white or silver.

And that’s a little peek into what Dior is launching this spring. The entire collection is just as dreamy. I certainly won’t be waiting for the thaw to begin before wearing these beauties.
