Santa Maria Novella Muschio Oro
My new favourite perfume right now is Santa Maria Novella Muschio Oro . The name translates to Golden Musk which makes sense why I fell in love with it. Not only is the packaging so lovely, but the scent is a powdery musky dream. This is the ultimate witchay woman fragrance.

Santa Maria Novella
Officina Profumo Santa Maria Novella is considered the oldest pharmacy in the world. Since 1221, they have been creating bath & beauty products to delight every olfactory. The few items I’ve tried from the illustrious brand have been exceptional.
The Tobacco soap is an UNREAL woody (somewhat leathery smelling) bar. I am also partial to the orange blossom water for days when I want a mild scent. It smells like springtime standing next to a mock orange bush.
I also purchased the rose scented wax tablets which I have fittingly hung on my antique brass bed.

Patchouli & Nostalgia
Now that I’ve had the pleasure of discovering this brand, I have added a couple items on my wishlist for the future. They have a straight up perfume. If you read my previous post about My Perfume Collection – 2010, you’ll know that patchouli is my NUMBER ONE note.
The other one is Nostalgia which apparently smells like smoky, grease, leather, motor oil. I cannot think of anything that sounds more appealing than that to be honest. I’ll keep you posted should I acquire them. In the meantime, has anyone else tried anything from Santa Maria Novella?
