2020 Empties
I actually saved all of my used up beauty products for a year just to make a 2020 Empties post. Let’s sort through all my trash and discuss what I loved, hated, and indifferent to. There’s a few things I’d most certainly replace. Anyway, here’s the video. I hope you enjoy this trash journey with me. (Just kidding, I recycle most of the things because Edmonton has a innovative recycling program. One of the few compliments I have for this city.)

MOST USED MAKEUP PRODUCTS
Without a doubt, my most used makeup products are brow pencils, mascaras, and lip balms.
The reigning champion for brow products is Benefit Precisely My Brow. I love the consistency of the pencil as well as the shade of colour. It has a long wear time and the applicator is easy to use. Not to mention I’ve never had any issues with the pencil breaking/arriving broken. In the past I experienced both Charlotte Tilbury and Hourglass pencils arriving loose which is disappointing considering the price range.
MOST USED BODY CARE PRODUCTS
Neutrogena sunscreen is a way of life. In fact, I adore their Hydroboost line which I wrote all about in my Hydrated Skincare Routine with Neutrogena post. The unscented Hydroboost body cream is heaven sent during the dry winters here.
Saje spray deodorants are on heavy rotation. I used to like the Peaceful Warrior scent (such a corny name!) but it started smelling funny on me. Now I’ve moved on to the Exotic scent – another not great name.
Everyone liquid soap in lavender. This is my shower soap go-to and I can always find it at Winners for cheap.
Nature’s Aid Aloevera gel is a holy grail product that I’ve used for years and I swear by it.

MOST USED SKINCARE PRODUCTS
Egyptian Magic face cream has been a mainstay over here for years. I first wrote about it almost a decade ago and my love has not waivered since then. Made of royal jelly, it is a moisture bomb for your face. I massage this in nightly in the winter months.
Indie Lee cleanser smells like a strawberry dream and can double as a face mask.
Fresh Soy Cleanser is a cult classic for a reason. The mild formula is perfect for sensitive skin and smells like cucumbers.
Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Oil is basically an all around useful product to have kicking around. I use it for ingrown hairs, zits, etc.
2020 Empties
Those are all my 2020 Empties. Did you see any of your favourites listed? I’m always so curious about what makes the top shelf for others since mine are usually basic.
Thanks so much for stopping by! If you dig this video, may I point you in the direction of my YouTube Channel.
