A Charmed Hour and a Haunted Song
The second back week home in Canada under my parents roof (feels like everything is moving backwards!) I attended a wedding at Fort Edmonton Park. A charmed hour and a haunted song are lyrics from a Stevie Nicks tune called “Angel” that I can’t stop listening to. Including when I was putting together this look for the wedding! I took a film camera along with me and have yet to develop the photographs which remain a mystery at this time. My memory of the evening has a bit of a fuzzy haze enveloping it. Here is what I wore to the pioneer shindig.

STYLING RAY-BAN CLUBMASTER SUNGLASSES
My favourite sunglasses at the moment are the Ray-Ban Clubmasters. Whatever outfit I throw together, they always go with the look. I did end up getting the ones with the gold trim hardware – the arms, nose bridge, and frame around the lens are all gold.
For those who wear predominantly silver accessories, I would go with the silver trimmed Clubmasters. Personally, I’m not afraid to mix metals.
TOOLED LEATHER ACCESSORIES
On all counts tooled leather accessories like this vintage western belt and purse should not pair well with my floral tunic…. BUT IT DOES. If ever you’re feeling stagnant in your outfit styling, always try to throw an accessory in that shouldn’t make sense. Often times the most nonsensical choice turns out to be the right one.
VINTAGE GOLD LEATHER SANDALS
Surprisingly these vintage gold leather pumps are extremely comfortable. Not only is the leather incredibly soft so I don’t get blisters but the chunky heel makes it much less painful to wear them for extended periods of time.
