Orlebar Point
ORLEBAR POINT GABRIOLA ISLAND
Orlebar Point is one of my favourite spots on the island. Gabriola is part of the Gulf Islands in BC and one must take a ferry from Nanaimo to reach this hippie haven. In fact, it’s two ferries all together. For the first tourist outing while on island time, I went to the point to check out The Surf and Entrance Island. It was sweltering out. However I luckily had the sea breeze and this ridiculous homemade vintage psychedelic crop top to keep me from melting. The flower crown, however, was solely for the flower child vibe.
