Full Face of Charlotte Tilbury Makeup
This particular post was a long time coming! I first tried out the brand in 2016, but it was more of a toe dip than this full deep dive in. (Peep that post.) Keep scrolling for more product shots and a video tutorial / review of my full face of Charlotte Tilbury makeup. With that said, please enjoy this crazy glowy lewk.

SKINCARE BEFORE MAKEUP
The first step to great makeup is by creating a great base. Normally, I am not a fan of skincare from brands that are predominantly makeup orientated. However, Charlotte Tilbury may be one of the few exceptions to this opinion.
Charlotte’s Magic Cream is truly a dream. For me it creates the perfect base when applying makeup as it’s deeply moisturizing without being too heavy. That lightweight moisture must be from the peptides and Hyaluronic acid. It also lightly smells of what I believe to be rose water.

FACE PRODUCTS
Since this is a Full Face of Charlotte Tilbury Makeup, most of the products moving forward are going to be just that. One of the standout items for me (aside from the Magic Cream) was the Hollywood Flawless Filter in shade 2. I cannot believe how luminous this dewy highlighter was.
A wonderful update I’m happy to announce is that the Hollywood Flawless Filter now comes in several shades which it did not at the first launch.

My face was already GLOWING when I decided to add the Hollywood Beauty Light Wand not realizing the potent glow it would have. I most certainly could have used MUCH less than what I did. Next time, I will ease up on that or forgo the additional highlighters because I don’t need it all at once.

As for the Hollywood Contour Wand, I love the idea of it however, this shade did not work for me. You can watch the struggle I have in my YouTube video I’ve embedded in this post. The contour wand only comes in two shades light / medium and medium / dark.
Also, I find that this product design goes bad before I was anywhere near finished the product. So unless the wands are an everyday type product for you, I don’t believe it to be worth getting.

EYEBROW PRODUCTS
There is a distinct lack of brow on my face. Waxy pencils that I can build up are my preference. The Brow Lift pencil in Rita is a good match as well as waxy like I love. Sadly, this product appears to have been discontinued in this design with the powder brow highlight. Here’s the new version: Brow Lift Eyebrow Pencil.
The Legendary Eyebrow Gel in Cara has also been renamed as well as reformulated. I can’t speak for the new iteration but the previous one held everything in place wonderfully. The tiny brush bristles were great for my non-existent brows and the applicator is still the same.

EYE PRODUCTS
Much like my lack of eyebrows I also have less than desirable lashes. They refuse to hold a curl and are sparse. The Full Fat Lashes Mascara in Glossy Black builds nicely on my unfortunate lashes without getting clumpy.
After adding mascara, I applied Tarte fake lashes with Sephora brand eyelash glue for a truly ~casual~ makeup look.

The CT Quad eyeshadow palettes are DELICATE. I have had three arrive slightly smashed before though that was a couple of years ago so I can’t say if this is still an issue. It happened with the above Uptown Girl as well as my Desert Haze quad and Walk of No Shame. It’s always one colour.
Despite arrival issues, the actual formula of the eyeshadows are divine. They’re so soft and blendable that I find myself forgetting the trauma of the broken shadow after I’ve mended it.
For this look I used MAC Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly as an eyeshadow base. It’s the bestttttttt and a vast improvement over what I used to use in my youth (chapstick).

LIP PRODUCTS
It’s safe to say that Charlotte Tilbury is KNOWN for her lip products, more specifically the Pillowtalk Collection in general. (Funny enough, I had a NARS Pillowtalk lipstick before the CT one but its long since been discontinued). Despite having a few other shades of her lipsticks, I went with the iconic Pillow Talk.
She’s known for her lipsticks with good reason, they are phenomenal. The formula is easy to apply, comfortable, and pigmented in the right way. Since I originally posted this, there have been additional lip lines added to her roster and I have yet to be disappointed by any of them.

Full Face of Charlotte Tilbury Makeup
Since I filmed this video, the products that I have been using the most are the following: Pillow Talk lipstick + liner, Legendary Brow gel, Filmstar Bronze + Glow, the Magic Cream, and the Hollywood Flawless Filter. I finished up the mascara and I forgot how amazing the highlighter was so I will definitely be adding it into the mix. There’s something about cream highlighters that make my skin look less textured than powdered ones.
Anyway, if you enjoyed this video… feel free to subscribe to my YouTube channel and if there are any Charlotte Tilbury products that you love but I didn’t try out, please let me know! I’m always on the hunt. xo
