MAC x Julia Petit collection has just launched in North America. Who is Julia Petit you may be wondering. She’s a Brazilian beauty and style blogger, an all around It Girl to be honest. Her blog, Petiscos, has been going strong since 2007! MAC cosmetics kindly sent me a couple of pieces from this new line, The collection also includes 3 different duo eyeshadow palettes, 3 lipsticks, a lipglass, one blush and an eyeliner.

THE PRODUCTS
MY THOUGHTS
The Acai lipstick is a pigmented berry shade with a matte finish (my favourite of course). The eyeliner is black with a very subtle sparkle. When it dries down, it still looks wet as if I’m wearing vinyl on my lids. I dig it. Those two pieces combined with the Linda powder blush, a peachy bronze shade, are now my go-to’s for a fresh spring look.
OTHER MAC COLLABORATIONS
I’ve loved MAC Cosmetics since high school when I first went to one of their Hudson Bay shops. The zany eyeshadow colours were like nothing I had ever seen before. They continue to launch products that I get excited about like the MAC x Marge Simpson. Or the MAC Powder Kiss Collection. And lastly, the one launch that I’m thrilled has become a permanent fixture, MAC Glow Play Blushes Loud and Clear Collection. Those blushes are unreal.
