Picacho Super Bloom

Picacho Super Bloom
Seeing the desert after a rainfall is a majestic treat and can be rare if you only visit once a year. I was aware that the desert becomes verdant and lush post shower but I had only ever known it to be true because of photographic evidence. Finally, last year, the stars aligned and I was in Arizona during the Picacho Super Bloom. It was nothing short of epic seeing those wild poppies sway in the wind. When the sun dipped behind the mountain, they began to close. Nature is pretty wild. Also, I wore an almost all black outfit and it was the exact opposite of my whimsical surroundings.

Picacho Super Bloom
I will forever be in love with the landscapes of Arizona – which is probably why I have visited so many times! Despite my regular trips, this is the first time I’ve ever seen the Picacho Super Bloom.
