Vintage Le Chateau Floral Romper
It would be easy to mistake this vintage Le Chateau floral romper as a mini sundress, and I’d forgive you if you did. When I first came across it while thrifting, I too assumed as much. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the bottom half was actually divided into leg hole. I much prefer that over a dress if possible, they add a layer of security on a windy day.

90s Le Chateau
I may be biased, but I have a soft spot for anything 90s era from Le Chateau. When I was a youth, Le Chateau’s Junior Girl line was my absolute favourite alongside Gap Kids. Whoever was designing the clothing during this period of time absolutely captured the zeitgeist of the era. It was a store where goths and preps could find trendy items that suited their style preferences.

Styling the Vintage Le Chateau Romper
For the styling of this outfit, I mixed it up with both hard and soft details. With the jacket, I went vintage as well with this children’s leather motorcycle jacket. And as for the shoes, I went new and cutesy with my Topshop patent leather mary-jane’s. I love the buckle clasp gold plated hardware.
