Pioneertown Style

PIONEERTOWN STYLE
If you’ve never been to Pioneertown, you haven’t lived a full life yet. When you run out of Things to do in Palm Springs, there’s a cute western town a short but scenic drive away. Located in the Yucca Valley near Joshua Tree National Park this former movie set is more than just a facade. Here’s my Pioneertown style as well as a few recommendations on what to see while you’re there.

THINGS TO CHECK OUT IN PIONEERTOWN
Pappy & Harriet’s is reason enough to head to this town. This little roadhouse which hosts musical acts, both planned and on the fly, is a great place for a casual meal. During Coachella Music Festival, it isn’t unusual to catch a secret show from one of the musical acts there. After a meal, head over to Pioneer Bowl, a legit bowling alley that was established in 1946! Lastly, if you aren’t planning on Staying at the Joshua Tree Inn, the Pioneer Motel is an excellent choice.

PIONEERTOWN STYLE
Though dressing in western cowpoke finery seems like a no brainer when in Pioneertown, I opted for something a little more Weekend at Bernie’s esque. I think it might be the shirt’s fault for that reference. Though for anyone interested in top notch vintage clothing and accessories, look no further than nearby The End Vintage Shop Yucca Valley. It’s impossible to walk away empty handed from that place. I think I prefer this outfit over my Vintage Poncho in Pioneertown from a few years back.

Love this vintage look! It’s so unique and rad. The jeans are so cool, I have a similar pair.
❤
I love when they get super distressed!
