Lunch at Saturne Paris

LUNCH AT SATURNE PARIS

Saturne // Natures
Saturne is an anagram for nature which makes sense given Chartier’s Swedish roots. When visiting any Scandinavian country, it becomes abundantly clear how important preserving and enjoying nature is. This was also reflected in the dishes we were served, each one feeling like it had just washed up on the beach and artfully arrange by the waves.
FIXE PRIX MENU
Does this not feel like a delightful plate of washed up sea treasures? Encornet voila! Grilled octopus, squid, with a smattering of peas and a savoury lentil puree.

DOUBLE DESSERT TIME
One thing I love about Europe is that cheese is considered part of dessert. Since that’s the case, we technically had THREE desserts, but I prefer the alliteration over fact. Behold our PILE of cheese.

LUNCH AT SATURNE PARIS
I’m obviously not an expert on food but I would like to think that perhaps Jash is rubbing off on me a touch, though it is doubtful that I will be writing dissertations on dishes anytime soon. As per usual, Jash asked for a menu from that day. The head chef, Sven, went the extra mile and even made a personalised inscription for him. The menu read: “Welcome in our universe – Sven Chartier.” A little on the nose, but I like it.
